The great thing about technology is that it is always advancing for the better. About twenty years ago if a person wanted to get some documents from one state to the next, he or she would most likely go to the post office and mail that items.
A little later fax machines became more popular. The fax machine made it possible for people to send important documents and paperwork to each other in as little as five minutes.
If the user had a fax machine at home, he or she could send documents all day long over this machine that was hooked up to a phone line. Even if the person did not have his or her own unit, items could be sent from a nearby location with a fax machine.
Of course a small fee was charged. Now technology has advanced yet again.
There exists a free online fax service for people who need to send information. There is no need for a gigantic fax machine or even any papers.
The documents that are going to be faxed are uploaded and sent electronically to the recipient. There is no cost to the user for each page because there is no paper.
Anyone can use the service so long as he or she has a valid e-mail address. This information will be needed because a confirmation link will be sent before the service will send out the fax.
Also, it will notify the sender at that same e-mail address of when the transaction was completed and the paperwork was received. Because the service is free there are some stipulations.
